GLP-1 medications have changed the body contouring industry. Technicians are seeing more clients with rapid weight loss, loose skin, depleted tissue and loss of muscle support. These concerns cannot always be treated like ordinary stubborn fat.

Int his course we will examine how GLP-1 weight loss can affect fat, muscle, skin and overall body composition. You will learn how to recognize when a client’s concern may be caused by remaining fat, loose skin, muscle loss or a combination of factors.

We will also discuss why additional fat reduction is not always the right goal, how cavitation can work against the desired result in some clients, and when the body may still be changing too quickly for predictable body contouring results.
